Family Sources provide the starting point for research into the history of any family. Many documents and papers in the attics and cupboards of older family members contain a wealth of information about the past.
These range through certificates of birth, marriage and death, memorial cards and wills to army pay books, newspaper cuttings, diaries, birthday books and family Bibles. Don't forget the old photographs too. All contain valuable names, dates and places which record the lives of our ancestors. The clues they contain can be used by the genealogist to start the search for your family's history.
Don't forget to ask the older generations for their recollections of earlier generations so that these can be collected before they are lost forever. Gather the information together and send it to us. We will take it from there!
